The University of Calicut, one of the prominent universities in Kerala has invited applications from candidates for admission to various undergraduate courses (UG courses). The admission process is purely merit-based and through a Centralised Admission Process (CAP)
The official prospectus has been released on the official portal. All candidates are advised to read thoroughly through the prospectus.
Eligibility for Admission
Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria mentioned on the prospectus.
For undergraduate programs, candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary annual examination or a pass in the equivalent examination is the minimum criteria for admission. Candidates who have qualified for the HSE and VHSE examination under the SAY scheme and Compartment Examination of CBSE are also eligible for admission.

What to do After Calicut University Degree Application ?
After the admission process the authority will release Calicut University Trial Allotment List. The trial allotment list is a demo list prepared by officials based on the option registration by candidates. The Trial Allotment gives candidates an idea about their chances of winning an allotment at their desired college, it is not a sure list. Following the trial allotment candidates will be given a chance to rearrange their options of choice.
The Calicut University FYUGP First Allotment will be published by the university after the release of the trial allotment. The first allotment is a sure list of candidates who got allotment. Candidates listed in the first allotment list must be admitted to the allotted college with the required documents.
