MG University has invited applications for admission to various Undergraduate Programmes (UGP) in the affiliated Arts & Science Colleges / Constituent Colleges of Mahatma Gandhi University for the academic year 2025-26. The last date to submit the MG University online application is 31 May 2025. The admission process for MG University is done through a centralized allotment process (CAP).
MG University UG Admission 2025
MG University Degree admission 2025 application registration window is open on the official website of MG University - www.cap.mgu.ac.in. The MG degree application and admission process will be made by a CAP system. MG UGP (Honours) CAP is an internet-based single window system to give allotments to the various academic programs offered by the university based on the options submitted by the candidates.
Candidates who are looking for degree admission in the institutions under MG University should apply for online registration on the official portal. The Online Application registration has been started from May 22nd, 2025. The MG UGP CAP 2025 Prospectus can be downloaded from the official website of Mahatma Gandhi University. The registration window will close on May 31st, 2025 all candidates are advised to apply before the last date.
MG University UGP CAP Admission Eligibility
Candidates before applying for the UGP CAP Admission must ensure that they are eligible to apply for the admission process.
Age Limit: There is no upper or lower age limit for admission to undergraduate programmes. However, there is an upper age limit for admission through sports quota which is 25 years.

The Complete educational qualification is listed in the prospectus. Speaking of the basic eligibility, Candidates shall be required to have passed Plus Two or an equivalent examination or an examination recognized by this University as equivalent thereto.

How to apply for MGU UGP CAP 2025 Admission ?
Candidates who want to apply for UG courses under MG University can apply at the official website using the required documents.
Step 1. Click on the “Registration” link on the official website - cap.mgu.ac.in
Step 2. Fill in the personal details and proceed
Step 3. Fill in the details like mobile number and email. For the note of candidates, only one account can be created using a single mobile number and email ID.
Step 4. Create a strong password that you can remember.

Kerala HSCAP +1 Second Allotment 2025 Result @ www.hscap.kerala.gov.in Step 5. After the successful creation of an account, you will be provided an eight-digit application number starting with 25. The application number will have to be retained by the candidate for all future online and offline operations.
Step 6. Fill in the application form with personal details, academic eligibility, and the options correctly. The applicant can give up to forty options.
Step 7. Once completed, pay the application fee
Step 8. Pay the application fee by clicking on the “PAY NOW” button.
Step 9. After remitting the fee, the applicant will be redirected back to the application page.
Step 10. Upload the digital copies of the supporting documents.
Step 11. Take the printout of the confirmation page which will have to be retained by the candidate for future reference.

MGU UGCAP Allotment 2025
MG University degree admission will be held through a centralized allotment process CAP. There are three general allotments and two special allotments will be conducted by the university for admission to degree programmes.
MGU UGP CAP 2025 Trial Allotment
The MG University Trial Allotment result is a list of candidates who are getting a chance to be included in the first allotment list based on their current options in the application. The trial allotment does not guarantee the type of admission, the admission will be getting only through the actual allotment ie First/ Second/ Third, or a special allotment by the university.
After the trial allotment list is published, the candidates are allowed to make changes to their current options in the online application. After the modification, the MGU will publish the UGP CAP 2025 degree first allotment list on the specified date.
