The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) will start the Kerala VHSE Plus One Admission Process next week (May 1st Week, 2026). The first-year admission process is done through a Single Window Admission system, VHSE Ekajalakam Registration. Candidates seeking greater heights throughout their career can apply for Higher Secondary Centralised Admission Process (VHSE) Plus One Admission through the official portal - www.vhseportal.kerala.gov.in.

The Authority has released the prospectus on the official portal, which contains the complete details about VHSE Plus One Admission 2026. Plus One Admission 2026 VHSE Candidate Registration

The Complete Schedule of VHSE Plus One Admission 2026-27 will be released after the SSLC Result has been published by the authorities. The Allotment phase is where candidates can have an idea about their chances of being allocated to a school and branch. The First phase in the allotment process is the release of Trial Allotment, followed by First Allotment, Second Allotment, and finally Third Allotment.

This year, the government has decided to increase the number of seats to ensure admission for all students to Plus One courses. In a press conference, the Education Minister has addressed that in seven districts, the plus one seats will be increased by 30% in all government schools and a 20% rise in aided schools. No additional seats have been allotted to Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, and Idukki.

VHSE Plus One Trial Allotment 2026

Once the application process for Plus One Admission has ended, DHSE will be releasing the VHSE Plus One Trial Allotment, which is a list of candidates who have a chance of getting admission to schools according to the selection of candidates. The Trial Allotment does not guarantee an allotment but gives an idea to candidates about their chances of winning an allotment.

VHSE Plus One First Allotment 2026

After the Release of the Trial Allotment, the authority will release the First Allotment List, which is the first phase of the main allotment. The Allotment list is prepared based on the rearrangement option chosen by the candidates after the trial allotment. This Year, 2025-26, the first allotment will be released on June 2nd, 2025. The First Allotment is the main allotment; students who have received an allotment must report to the school with the required documents.
