This years marks the 67th annual Kerala State School Athletics Meet 2025, being hosted in the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram.
School Sports Meet 2025 Key Dates And Venue
The flagship event for the Kerala School Sports & Games Meet 2025 is scheduled to take place on October 21st 2025 by Chief Minister of Kerala.
- Dates: October 21 to October 28, 2025
- Host City: Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum)
- Main Venue: The inauguration is set for the University Stadium, with competitions spread across a total of 12 venues across the city.
- Inauguration: The meet will be formally inaugurated by the Chief Minister at the University Stadium on October 21.

Kerala State School Athletics Meet 2025
The Kerala School Sports Meet previously known as Kerala State School Athletics and Games was lanuached as an in initiative to promoted the young talents in athletics and physical education. Each year around 40 sporting events are held in the sports meet, After each event state champions are announced along with district and school champions awarding students with gold, silver, and bronze medals for their performances.

This year 35 students from seven Kerala Syllabus school in the middle East region will also take part in this event. The ceremonial torch will be lit jointly by Football legend I. M. Vijayan and Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty. Sporting competitions will commence from October 22nd 2025.
To inspire the younger generations the authorities have crowned Cricketer Sanju Samson as the Brand Ambassador (Athletic Meet) and Actor Keerthy Suresh as the Goodwill Ambassador.
