The government of Kerala conducts polytechnic admissions into Engineering & Technology and Management streams through the Lateral Entry Test (LET) to the polytechnic colleges across Kerala annually. Every year, lakhs of candidates apply for this admission process. This year applications were invited from May 18th, 2026. The application window was open till June 7th.

What is Polytechnic LET Rank List ?

After the application window closes, the authority will list all candidates based on the marks secured in the entrance examination. Firstly the authority will release a provisional rank list, a list of students who are eligible for admission to the preferred college. The admission process will be strictly done according to the rank list.

The rank list determines:

• eligibility for admission
• The order of priority in the counseling process
• College and course allocation during allotments

How to Download Kerala Polytechnic LET Rank List 2026 ?

Candidates who have applied for the Polytechnic LET Admission 2026 can check the provisional rank list at the official website using the required login credentials. The rank list will be released only online through the official portal.

Step 2: Click on the link "LET Rank List 2026"

Step 3: Enter the login credentials - application number and DOB

Step 4: The rank list will be displayed on the screen

Step 5: Check for your name and download the rank list.

How is Rank List Prepared ?

The polytechnic rank list is prepared purely based on the Index mark calculated and the admission is solely based on this rank list.

Tie-Breaking Criteria:

For +2 or equivalent / VHSE candidates: If a tie occurs, total marks will be considered first. If the tie persists, marking Mathematics, then physics, then chemistry/other relevant mandatory additional courses will be considered for giving weightage for the index score to resolve the tie. Candidates with higher marks will be given preference.

For 2-year courses of NCVT/SCVT/KGCE candidates: If a tie occurs, total marks of the theory examination including drawing subject will be considered, if a tie still exists, total marks of Practical Examination will be considered. If the tie persists, the age of the candidate will be considered and the older will be placed higher in the ranking than the younger.
