The New India Assurance Company Limited, a leading Public Sector General Insurance Company, recruiting candidates for the post of Insurance Assistant in NIACL. NIACL Assistant Recruitment : Qualification
The candidates must have a minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on 01/01/2024
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2024) The candidates must have a minimum age of 21 years and the maximum age of 30 years, as on 01/01/2024. Age relaxations will be applicable as per government rules.
Application Fee
The candidates must have to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- for the SC/ST/PwBD candidates and Rs 850/- for all other candidates. The fee payment must be made through online from 01/02/2024 to 15/02/2024.
NIACL Assistant Selection Procedure
NIACL will conduct online examination for the selection of candidates. The online test is a two separate examination Preliminary & Main Examination. Candidates will have to qualify in each test by securing passing marks to be decided by the Company. Adequate number of candidates state-wise and category-wise as decided by the Company will be shortlisted for the Tier II - Main Examination. Candidates qualifying in the online Main Examination will be shortlisted and called for Regional Language Test, before final selection. The Regional Language Test will be of qualifying nature only. No Scores will be allotted for this test.
Tier I : Preliminary Examination :
Preliminary Examination is a an Online Objective Test for 100 marks.

a) Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum total score (as decided by the Company) in the Main Examination.
b) Candidates qualifying in the online Main Examination will be shortlisted and called for Regional Language Test, before final selection. No separate marks will be awarded for Regional Language Test. This test will be only qualifying in nature.
c) Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the online Main Examination subject to qualifying the Regional Language Test. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle a candidate to be called for online examinations & Regional Language Test.
d) In case of equal marks scored by the last two or more candidates in the merit list, the candidate senior most in age will be shortlisted for further process of recruitment.
NIACL Assistant Recruitment : How to Apply

Application registration process
1. Candidates have to go to the Company’s website www.newindia.co.in ‘Recruitment’ Section and click on the option ‘APPLY ONLINE’ which will open a new screen.
2. To register application, choose the tab ‘CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION’ and enter Name, Contact details and email id, mobile no. etc. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
3. In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing ‘SAVE AND NEXT’ tab. Prior to submission of the online application, candidates are advised to use the ‘SAVE AND NEXT’ facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually Impaired candidates should fill the application form carefully and verify / get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct, prior to final submission.
4. Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application form themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ BUTTON.
5. The Name of the candidate and his / her Father / Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates / Mark sheets. Any change / alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
6. Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the 'VALIDATE YOUR DETAILS' and 'SAVE & NEXT' button.
7. Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Uploading of Photograph and Signature.
8. Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.
9. Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before ‘FINAL SUBMIT’.
10. Modify details, if required, and click on 'FINAL SUBMIT' only after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.
