Kerala University Sports Quota for UG Online Admission 2021 Registration has been started. Last date to submit sports quota application is 17-8-2021. The candidates seeking admission under the sports quota can register online their application through www.admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in.The candidates can submit the hard copies( print outs) of the application form to the colleges on or before the specified date.
Kerala University Degree Sports Quota Admission 2021
The Sports Quota admission shall be effected in online mode only.
Candidates who seek admission under sports quota should apply online within the prescribed time.
The certificates of achievement shall be scanned and uploaded in the website. After verification of the certificates, the sports quota rank list will be published in admission website and Colleges concerned.
The admission will be effected by the Principal based on this ranklist.
How to Apply for Sports Quota Admission in Kerala University?
The candidates seeking for admission under the sports quota should have to submit online application through the Kerala University admission portal. This is commom to all the candidates.
The candidates shall opt YES to the question “Have you represented any sports competitions?” in the first step of online registration process
The candidates will have an option to upload the sports achievement certificates in the application. They haveto select the level of achievement and upload scanned copy of corresponding certificate in the respective field. There will be no limit in uploading the number of certificates. Once the certificates are uploaded, registration process can be continued.
After completion of this application registration for sports quota by uploading the sports achievement certificates, they shall submit a proforma also to the colleges before the specified date and time.
The last date to submit the proforma by email or direct method is 17-8-2021
KU Sports Quota Admission Guidelines
For filling up the seats reserved under Sports quota, hierarchy of preference shall be given as per the norms/guidelines formulated by the University in addition to his /her satisfying academic eligibility.
When the candidates fulfil minimum academic eligibility, the academic merit shall not be preferred over sports merit in sports quota reservation seats except in the case of a tie in the sports merit.
The original certificate/s from the Competent authority/ authorities must be produced by the candidate to prove his/her claim.
The verification of the certificate/s shall be done by the Head of the Department of Physical Education of the College and the ranklist thus prepared shall be verified by the Director, Department of Physical Education of the University.
For securing admission to UG programmes under Sports Quota, including re-admission, the performance of the candidate during the preceding two years/ Higher Secondary Level shall be considered.
The achievement certificate received before the closure of registration of UG Programmes will only be considered for ranking in sports quota admissions.
Preferences shall be given to those disciplines which have All India Inter- University competitions

General Guidelinesfor Kerala University Sports Quota Admission in Affiliated Colleges and UIT‟s
The registration for Sports Quota admission shall be effected in online mode only.
Candidates who seek admission under sports quota should apply online within the prescribed time.

The achievement certificate received before the closure of registration of UG Programmes will only be considered for ranking in sports quota admissions.
For securing admission to UG programmes under SportsQuota,including re-admission,the performance of the candidate during the preceding two years/Higher Secondary Level shall only be considered.

University will conduct centralized verification of uploaded certificates. Rank list will be published in the website after the verification.
The admission will be effected by the Principal based on this rankedlist. Verification of original certificates will be done by the Head of the Department of Physical Education of the College concerned.Date of admission will be intimated through press release.
Kerala University Sports quota admission rank list
The principals of the colleges will prepare and publish the rank list for sports quota admission based on the supporting documents submitted by the candidates. The rank list will be published in the respective colleges.
