The Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has recently commenced its online counselling process, starting from June 5th. Candidates who recently took the Common Admission Test (CAT) examination and aspire to be part of CUSAT can register for the counselling process on the official website www.admissions.cusat.ac.in.

Cochin University of Science and Technology is one of the most reputed and popular technology universities in Kerala. For any student aspiring to be a B.Tech graduate, CUSAT will be one of the top priority colleges on their list.
CUSAT recently successfully conducted the Common Admission Test (CAT) in centers across Kerala. Lakhs of students appeared for the examination. The CAT result was published on June 4th. Now, the university has begun option registration for B.Tech/ B.Tech Lateral Entry courses. Candidates can now choose courses and colleges according to their preferences in the candidate login window.
The CUSAT counselling process comprises Option Registration, Seat Allotment, and Admission at the allotted college. Candidates who have qualified for the CAT exam 2025 will be eligible for counselling processes.

CUSAT CAT 2025 Counselling Process - How to Do Option Registration ?
Candidates who have qualified for the CAT examination will be eligible for option registration. The Option registration window is available on the candidate login. A detailed step-by-step procedure is listed below.
- Step 1: Visit the official website - www.admissions.cusat.ac.in
- Step 2: Log in to your candidate profile using your email address and password
- Step 3: Find and click on the link for "option registration" in your profile
- Step 4: Now fill in the course and college combination according to your preferences.
- Step 5: Lock the final option list and click on submit button
Note: Candidates are advised to lock option preferences before the last date, after the deadline the system will automatically lock the options. No modification to the option list can be made after the deadline.
CUSAT CAT Seat Allotment 2025
After each round, the authority will release the seat allotment result which will decide your admission probability. The seat allotment result will be released through online mode. Candidates can check the seat allotment result on the official portal. The seat allotment is prepared purely based on marks secured and the rank of the candidates. Candidates who are allotted seats in a college must report to the college with the required documents and take admission before the last date.

- S.S.L.C/10 and 12th marksheet and pass certificate
- Migration Certificate (for candidates from Universities outside Kerala)
- Four passport size photographs
- Domicile certificate
- Conduct certificate from the school/Institution last attended
- Transfer certificate
- Community certificate
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate
- Sports Certificate (for admission under sports quota)
- OEC certificate (for candidates claiming OEC status for fee concession)
- Certificate to prove Scheduled Caste (KSC)/ Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) category
- Physically Handicapped certificate (for PHC category students)
