Editorial Policy

How We Source Information

Kerala Events covers time-sensitive topics — university admissions, exam results, allotments,
and government notifications — where accuracy matters. Here's how we work:

- Official sources first: For admission dates, allotment results, and exam results, we refer
directly to official university and government websites and notifications. We also cite links to official original source so readers can verify independently.
- Timely updates: When information changes (revised dates, postponements, additional
allotments), we update the relevant article and note the date of the update.
- No speculation on results: We do not publish unconfirmed rumors about results or allotments.
If something is unconfirmed, we say so clearly.

Festivals & Events

Dates for festivals and cultural events are sourced from official temple committees, government
tourism boards, district administration announcements, and organizer websites where available.

Corrections

We aim to get every detail right, but mistakes can happen — especially with fast-moving
information like admission dates and results.

- If we publish incorrect information, we correct it as soon as we're made aware, and note the
date and nature of the correction at the bottom of the article.
- For significant errors (e.g., wrong dates, incorrect results), we add a visible correction note
at the top of the article in addition to the bottom note.
- We do not delete or hide past errors — transparency matters to us, and our readers deserve to
know what changed and when.
