How to Claim Kerala Lottery Prize Amount ?
Once the ticket holder verifies the prize amount has been lotted, they can claim the prize amount by submitted the lotted ticket along with some required documents at the respective office:
- Surrender your winning ticket within 30 days of the draw. After 30 days ticket will be consider and an invalid ticket
- Visit the District Lottery Office (if prize is up to ₹1 Lakh).
- For prizes above ₹1 Lakh, submit to the Director of State Lotteries.
- Provide Self-attested photocopy of the winning ticket and two passport-sized photos attested by a Gazetted Officer or Notary.
- Valid ID proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, Driving License, or Voter ID)
Required Documents
Winners of prizes above ₹1 Lakh must submit the following to the Directorate:
- The original prize-winning ticket, intact and without any damage.
- A letter of claim detailing the winner's name, address, and signature on the back of the ticket.
- Two passport-size photographs of the winner, attested by a Gazetted Officer.
- A photocopy of a valid ID proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, etc.), attested by a Gazetted Officer.
- A detailed claim form (available on the official website).

Kerala State Lotteries
The Kerala State Lotteries is India's first state to organise and run a lottery department. The Kerala state introduced the lottery program and is established in 1967 under the visionary leadership of the then Finance Minister. The aim of the lottery department is to generate revenue for the state while also providing a stable source of income for thousands of lottery agents and vendors. The revenue generated through the ltterie distributes is contirbuted to the Kerala's social welfare schemes and infrastructure projects.
