The winners for the film awards were selected through the coupons published in Malayala Manorama Vanitha Magazine and the polls were conducted among the readers of Vanitha Magazine and Malayala Manorama Online portal. There are more than 1 lakhs of readers participated in the process to select best artists in Malayalam films for the awards.
