Champakkulam Boat Race is a special event that will be held on 15 July 2019 at Alappuzha, Champakkulam. The Champakkulam Boat Race is one of the best oldest Snake Boat Race in Kerala. It takes place on the river Pamba on Moolam day of the Malayalam month Midhunam, the day of the installation of diety at Ambalappuzha Sree Krishna Temple. It is normally held on months of June – July. Thousands of people come to view this boat race along with their families. It is the most enjoyable event in the state of Kerala.
