The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala has invited application for the Entrance Examinations KEAM 2014 for admission to the Medical / Agriculture / Veterinary / Fisheries / Engineering / Architecture / MBBS & BDS Degree Courses in 2014 in Kerala.
KEAM 2014 is the Kerala Engineering, Agricultural, Medical Entrance Examination conducted by the Kerala Government for admissions to the Engineering, Architecture and Medical courses across the state in Kerala. Candidates must have to submit online application form for KEAM - 2014 through the official website.The details of the application is given below,
KEAM 2014 Online Application Dates
Online application for the Entrance examinations will be started on 11 th January 2014.
The last date for the online application is on 4th February 2014.
KEAM 2014 Security card and Prospectus are distributed from the selected post offices start from January 10, 2014 to 4th February 2014.
Last date for receipt of printout of the application form with the supporting documents is February 5, 2014.
KEAM 2014 Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must be an Indian Citizen or Person of Indian Origin (POI) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI). Candidates would be classified as Keralite, Non-Keralite (Category I) and Non-Keralite (Category II).
KEAM 2014 Educational Qualification:
For MBBS, BDS, BSMS: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology / Biotechnology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology put together, are eligible.
For BAMS/ BHMS: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible. Biotechnology will not be considered as a subject for academic eligibility.
For B.Sc.(Hons.)Agri., B.Sc.(Hons) Forestry, BFSc: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible.
For BVSc. & AH: Candidates should have secured not less than 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for the qualifying examination.
For Engineering: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognised as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission.
Age: The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2014.
KEAM 2014 Application Fee Payment
General Candidates: Rs 800
SC/ST Candidates: Rs 400
Candidates opting for Dubai Centre must pay Rs 12,000 in addtion to the Application Fee for KEAM
Application fee can be paid via: DD or cash payment at selected Post Offices
How to Apply for the exam
The Print out of the Application form and other relevant documents, to be submitted with the Application, are to be enclosed and sent in the printed envelope bearing the address of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations supplied along with the application form, so as to reach him before 5 p.m. on 05.02.2014 (Wednesday), by Hand Delivery/Registered Post/Speed Post.
